Mr. Baikuntha Nath Sahu is a seasoned academic administrator with a strong background in science and public administration. He holds a Post-Graduation degree in Physics (I.MSc.) from NIT Rourkela.

He began his professional journey in academic administration as Assistant Registrar at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (A Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956) in 2017. In 2020, he joined the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur in the same capacity, where he continues to serve with distinction.

Mr. Sahu's contributions have earned him several prestigious recognitions. He was conferred the "Young Alumni Achiever Award – 2022" by NIT Rourkela for his outstanding contribution to Public Administration during the Diamond Jubilee Global Alumni Meet – 2022. He is also the recipient of the "Visiting Research Scholar Award" Grant from the University of Hawaii, USA.

He is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD), reflecting his continued commitment to professional development. In 2018, his proposal was selected under Category-C for the Citizen Science Initiative using Foldscope—a collaboration between the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, and Prakash Lab, Stanford University, USA.

With over eight years of rich experience, Mr. Sahu has handled a wide range of responsibilities across multiple functional areas, including International Relations, Alumni Relations, Corporate Relations, Office of Resources & Planning, CPIO-RTI, Internal Audit, R&D, Establishment (Non-Faculty), Training Cell, IPR, Examination, Academic Administration, and involvement in various important institutional committees.

Throughout his career, Mr. Sahu has exhibited unwavering dedication and strategic vision in driving reforms, implementing best practices, and contributing to policy-making in higher education administration.
